Hungary 25 years a member of NATO

Magyarország huszonöt évvel ezelőtt, 1999. március 12-én vált az Észak-atlanti Szerződés Szervezetének (NATO) teljes jogú tagjává. For 25 år siden, den 12. marts 1999, blev Ungarn fuldgyldigt medlem af Den Nordatlantiske Traktats Organisation (NATO). It was 25 years ago, on 12 March 1999 that Hungary became a full-fledged member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).

Christmas concert with Jazzation in Copenhagen

On 14 December 2023, Hungary's most renowned acappella jazz group Jazzation performed an all-night Christmas concert at the Drop Inn jazz bar in downtown Copenhagen, organised by our Embassy, to great interest. The Christmas repertoire "Green is the Forest", including several classic Christmas song arrangements and jazz standards, proved to be extremely popular: the two-hour show of the young talented group, without instrumental accompaniment, was acknowledged by the audience with a long applause.

The Danish premiere of the film Island of Good Hope in Copenhagen!

On November 8, 2023, with a full house, about 180 spectators, our film screening took place in the framework of the "East by Southeast" film festival, organized by the Danish Film Institute, with the participation of the writer-director, partly Hungarian Dimitry Ljasuk. This year, the Danish Film Institute also selected the film "Island of Good Hope" as one of the 10 best films to be screened.

The screening and the Q&A session were very popular, we received a lot of positive feedback from the participating diplomats, as well as from the local Hungarian community and the Danish audience.
