On 14 December 2023, Hungary's most renowned acappella jazz group Jazzation performed an all-night Christmas concert at the Drop Inn jazz bar in downtown Copenhagen, organised by our Embassy, to great interest. The Christmas repertoire "Green is the Forest", including several classic Christmas song arrangements and jazz standards, proved to be extremely popular: the two-hour show of the young talented group, without instrumental accompaniment, was acknowledged by the audience with a long applause.
Jazzation is Hungary's premier jazz acappella ensemble, having won four international competition prizes (including the Aarhus Jazz Festival in Denmark) and has been involved in a number of special collaborations with Bobby McFerrin, The Real Group of Sweden, The King's Singers, and other vocal and instrumental groups from abroad and at home.
The concert was a great opportunity to make the Advent anticipation more complete.
