Every year we celebrate the Day of Hungarian Culture on January 22nd, however, as the pandemic is still present in our everyday life we decided to continue to take advantage of possibilities hidden in our virtual universe and offer you an online film screening! We believe that the Hungarian film industry represents an important and valuable segment of Hungarian culture so let us highlight it for you with the choosing of a special film produced in 2014 about the legacy of Gedeon Richter, the pioneer of the modern Hungarian pharmaceutical industry.

By screening the documentary feature “Gedeon Richter’s Legacy - I’m Not Gone”, we not only want to pay tribute to the talented and successful Hungarian pharmacist and businessmen who was born 150 years ago, but also to draw an interesting parallel in the middle of the raging pandemic where Hungarian pharmacists and researchers have always played a key and historical role.
