Between September 5 and 7, 2025, the 3x3 Basketball European Championships were held in Copenhagen as part of Copenhagen Street Days, with both our women's and men's national teams participating. Members of our Embassy also cheered on our teams at the continental competition. Consul Dr. Mike Gyula and Foreign Economic Attaché Márk Baranyai met with József Vereb, international representative of the Hungarian 3x3 basketball teams, as well as Máté Jakab and Ferenc Csirke, coaches of the women's and men's national teams.
We sincerely congratulate our teams for their heroic performance and excellent play. The tournament was won by the Netherlands in the women's competition and Lithuania in the men's competition.
