The Danish-Hungarian Association hosted a unique and inspiring event, which included an unconventional book launch and literary recital, with contributions from the Embassy.
During the evening, the audience had the opportunity to learn about the stories behind the creation of the performers' latest books – Mariann Tallián and Balázs Lázár, an award-winning actor and writer couple. The poetry adaptations and excerpts performed revealed fascinating connections between Danish and Hungarian literature, including through the figures of Andersen, Júlia Szendrey, and a 21 st-century Hamlet.
