A magical Advent weekend at Messiaskirken

We were able to take part in a magical Advent weekend at Messiaskirken in Gentofte: on Saturday, there was an ecumenical Advent service in Hungarian led by Reformed pastors Endre Iszlai and Mariann Iszlai-Kovács, and on Sunday, there was a Christmas concert with the Messiaskirken mixed choir and members of the Gentofte International Singers, conducted by Krisztina Vas-Norbæk.

The third Advent candle is pink, symbolizing joy and love: anticipation is not only quiet hope, but also the active experience of love and joy. This season calls us to bring light into the lives of others and open our hearts to the peace of the coming holiday.
